Nature of Work: Dismantling Existing Road, Specialized RCC with Construction Chemicals

Test tracks generally have various different surfaces to replicate actual road conditions to test the cars performance. To that end, TKM has us creating artificial potholes for their test track in order to replicate the live road condition currently encountered by cars on the roads. The works involves dismantling the existing asphalt and relaying the same with specialized Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) mixed with various construction chemicals and laid over a thin sheet of polythene. The pothole is then covered with a chequered plate.
