Nature of Work: Dismantling Existing Road, Specialized RCC with Construction Chemicals.

Consultant: JLL

Controlled pothole creation for testing.

Test tracks generally have various different surfaces to replicate actual road conditions to test the cars performance.

Artificial Pothole Creation for Test Track:

To that end, TKM has us creating artificial potholes for their test track in order to replicate the live road condition currently encountered by cars on the roads.

Scope of Work:

The works involves dismantling the existing asphalt and relaying the same with specialized Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) mixed with various construction chemicals and laid over a thin sheet of polythene.

Final Installation:

The pothole is then covered with a chequered plate.

Accurate test track conditions were achieved.
