Rectification works inside Toyota Kirloskar Motors is always a challenging task.

Operational Constraints Inside the Plant:

The reason being that the rework generally needs to be performed outside the working hours of the plant for the regular manufacturing activities not to be disturbed. This constraint placed on us requires us to be diligent and have strict control over our schedule in order to complete any works within the period allotted to us. Failure to adhere would lead to disruption of the activities of the plant and consequent financial losses.

Project Scope and Timeline:

This particular rectification of roads has us relaying about 1000 (300 & 700) sqm of asphalt roads over 2 weekends.

Rectification Activities:

Activities taken up for rectifications include dismantling gate, RCC flooring, groove cutting in asphalt, providing barrication, dismantling existing roads, excavating, and relaying, Granular Sub Base (GSB), Wet Mix Macadam (WMM), Prime Coat, Dense Bituminous Macadam (DBM), Tack Coat & Asphalting Concrete (AC) & relaying GSB, bitumen, tack coat, etc. & relaying GSB, bitumen, tack coat, etc.

Logistics efficiency increased.
